@ stan livedeath:
Just the fact that they stayed for about 30 minutes should be a reason for hope.
ive lived here 7 months now--and today was the 4th time some dubs have called--while i was at home.. they were probably about 60-70.. after i let one do her simple leaflet presentation--i told them i used to be a jw--but left over 40 years ago.
and that i held the watchtower responsible for the break up of my family: and discussed shunning.. but the main thing i wanted to discuss--was the sale of their kingdom hall.
they confirmed a sale was going through.

i have some tricks to play.
i know it may sound childish but i feel that creating havoc and forcing the memorial to be postponed will be the highlight of the night!
wish me luck!.
there is a lot of talk about the usa's new president, mr trump.
he seems to be like what they say about marmite, people either love him or hate him.
is there any middle ground?.
@ BizzyBee:
If the people of North Korea despise him so much, they would rise up and overthrow him.
two elders who visited my friend last week encouraged her not to pursue higher studies.
it seems they are dishing out the same old stuff: “the end is imminent, and this is the time to do more in the service; hence don’t waste your resources on higher studies.”.
i wonder whether there was some official communiqué (something that is sent out recently like letter to the elders, or kingdom ministry article …).
This might have something to do with it. It is one of my older threads:

Ummm....
Doesn't the UK still have a monarchy? I think that Trump is a d-bag, but I find it interesting that people from other countries have such strong opinions about a leader that is not sovereign over them.
it was a year ago today that my life changed completely.
i'll never forget it.
i had zero friends in the kh and was never included in the "guys" drinks, football games, parties etc.
Congrats, Pale Emperor.
i saw a post the other day on another forum (think it was reddit) that put forward the idea that god should have created multiple couples, not just adam and ever.
this idea was so simple and brilliantly logical, that i wish i'd thought of it, but i cannot claim credit!
but it really got me thinking of the practical implications and benefits.... if god had simply created multiple couples instead of one, he would in one foul swoop have solved the problem of incest, as well as have prevented 6 thousand years of human tragedy and a ransom sacrifice being needed etc.
@ doubtfull1799...You have some excellent points that I never even considered before.
The creation of multiple couples?
If the angels are gender neutral, why were they only attracted to the women?
i went to meeting today and the sister in front of me was upset song 134 now song 139 no longer contains jehovahs name.
they took it out.
i never even noticed .
Maybe they will change it back in the new newer newest revised version of the newest newer songbook (updated, 3rd edition).
has this question ever been answered by wt or biblical apologetic?.
if near the beginning of her creation, would she not have had the effective development of a a toddler or even a baby?.
if so, would you sentence a toddler or a baby to death for grabbing an appealing candy from a bowl?.
Perhaps the bigger question is this:
How could Jesus death cover the sins of Adam AND Eve AND everyone else??
One perfect life equals two perfect lives plus all imperfect lives. Makes sense.
knocked on a door on a saturday morning.
a window opened on the floor above me.
a grizzled old man stuck his head out and said, " we're all heathens here!
One time, I got "We're all devil worshippers here".
